MUSU is an eyewear concept created between brother and sister that strives to break down the boundaries between style and elegance.

  The idea behind Musu

At Musu, we put the product at the heart of everything we do, to create unique frames that can be worn all year round and will stand the test of time.

Each pair of MUSU is designed in the heart of the French Riviera and handcrafted in Italy with the primary intention of adding a distinctive yet elegant touch to any attire. The focus is always on detail, from product to packaging, comfort and fit.

The idea is to create singular eyewear and make it exclusively yours. As such, each pair bears a distinguished and individually assigned number, engraved within the temple.

PROCESS

The Factory

MUSU eyewear is made in a family-run factory, in operation since 1950, located in the heart of the Cadore Valley. To make your MUSUs, expert craftsmen go through more than 50 production steps, from sourcing bioacetate sheets to the final polishing touch.

PROCESS

The material

With Bioacetate, all the plasticisers needed to manufacture ordinary acetate are replaced by plant-based components, ensuring that all MUSU frames are biodegradable and recyclable.

As well as being more environmentally friendly, tests have also shown that this material outperforms conventional acetate in key properties such as strength.

Leather case handmade in Italy

Our storage case is now handmade in a workshop run by a mother and daughter near Pisa, Italy. The craftspeople reuse leather scraps from major luxury brands to make high-quality eyewear cases to protect your Musu, which are always stamped with our signature.
